Day 7

Today is the day I knew was coming. I have nothing to say, show, or tell. Frankly, I’m surprised I made it this long!

The fact of the matter is that I am tired and a little sad today, which doesn’t really lend itself to being articulate enough to write about knitting. Instead, I’m thinking about comforts: a warm mug of tea, some cookies, a new knitting project, a cat on my lap, and maybe some Oprah. Tomorrow is a new day.

What gives you comfort when you’re feeling blue?

  1. Chocolate chip cookies. The plastic ones from the grocery store. I don’t know why…. Maybe because I don’t have to make them! 🙂

Hope tomorrow is a better day….

  2. So sorry that you’re sad, Sonia…. Maybe we can catch up during the day tomorrow? I may have a treat to share…..

  3. Different things for different blues but generally if there’s knitting and wine involved, I’m all good. Lately, a good walk with an audiobook has been helping.

Enjoy your blue day. Sometimes I think they are permission to just stop and reflect.

  4. I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. Next time I will simply post a photo. Sometimes it’s the simple things that make everything better.

For me: snuggles from my bunny, a good book, a hug and a hot cup of tea.
