The Rhinebeck goodies are home, loaded into my Ravelry stash, and put safely away in my yarn cupboard.
While it wasn’t my intention to be so restrained in my purchases, it just turned out that way. I blame the crowded booths and my cloudy brain; the two conspired against me and I was nearly incapable of making decisions! That said, I love what I bought. Wanna see?

And for the non-yarn goodies, my favorite new project bag from Stitched by JessaLu. Not only is the fabric on the outside awesome, it’s lined with an orange and white polka dot pattern. And there’s a bumblebee stitch marker on the zipper pull. Love these little details!
I also bought a button and a ceramic shawl pin from Briar Rose Fibers. The rest of my money and attention went toward trying some delicious vittles from the vendors. I mentioned the fried artichoke hearts yesterday. I think I might have to try making these at home with garlic, bread crumbs, olive oil, and parmesan cheese; in the words of The Contessa, “How bad can that be?”
So I have some new goodies and lots of ideas to play around with. That has me motivated to finish up a couple of small projects I have on the needles asap! Which is good news for you as it means some finished objects coming soon. Stay tuned.
