We Have a Winner

And the winner of the anniversary giveaway is Lesley Ann! {applause, applause} She wrote:

I enjoy using my hands to create. When I was 18, (about 30 years ago!) I was the victim of a drunk driver. My left arm was totally paralyzed. I worked many long and difficult hours to regain movement in my arm and especially my hand. One of my therapy preferences was crocheting. I later taught myself to knit. It’s still therapy for me; not only physical but emotional. There’s something about creating something and seeing someone else enjoy it well enough to wear it! It’s a great feeling. I’ll be knitting as long as I have needles and yarn. :-) I read blogs because I like to see others’ creativity. I sometimes get ideas and inspiration from other knitters/crocheters to try something different. I enjoy seeing new and pretty yarns and tools. And reading about the joy that others get from knitting and gifting.
Congratulations on three years of blogging! The giveaway to celebrate is such a kind gesture. I enjoy your blog and love the name of it. That’s what drew me to first start reading it. :-)

Thank you kindly to everyone who entered.  Your comments were delightful and insightful to read, and I appreciate the time you all took to leave them.  Thanks for reading Peaceful Knitter!

  1. Oh my goodness! I think I’m speechless. ha! I have had a rough day today … the cold West Virginia weather is a shock to the body. You’ve made the ending of my day amazing. Thank you so much. I pray that God will bless you and your family abundantly.

    Again, thank you. 🙂
